* Boat launch/111th and Oketo: Ed reported that these areas will be weeded out and that members can assist. Ed will let members know when they can assist
* Cement Paint: After much discussion, it was determined that Dee will purchase some paint and try a spot in front of the library. She will let members know when she is going out to do the work. It was determined to be too expensive at this time. Barb suggested putting a permanent planter at 111th and Harlem Ave. Ed will count the number of bricks left at public works and determine how much it will be to plant a minimal amount of plants. All agreed this would be a nice touch to the corner.
* Banner Update: Dee will recheck the prices on the banners and get back to the group. Ed reported that the village purchased 22 flags from Conserv for $14.95 a piece. They will be installed along 111th and Oak Park, and at every intersection by flag day.
* Summer House Walk: Lyn is going to put together a written program for a house beautification project that will be announced by the next board meeting. We hope to have this implemented by August to award the winner with a yard sign.
* Additional Topics: Ed reported that the Burkes can plant flowers along Harlem in front of their apartment building (Near Titan Auto)
o Colleen updated the group that the Welcome Wagon is being implemented by Michelle Keller and the Neighbor in Need program is going to be implemented by Stephanie Daujatas.
o Ted requested we relook at a project for benches along 111th street and that consideration be given to replace a PACE shelter on 111th street where one was removed for the Redlight camera. Colleen will pass the information on to Pete.
* Adjournment: the meeting was adjourned at 1:10pm.
