Clerk Price called the meeting to order at 6:37 p.m.

 

Clerk Price stated that President Guzdziol is unable to attend this meeting and asked for a motion to appoint a Mayor pro temp.  Trustee Rhein made a motion seconded by Trustee Hartz to appoint Trustee Keller as Mayor pro temp.  A voice vote followed. Motion carried.

 

Roll call indicated that the following trustees were present: Becky Alcala, Randy Keller, Mary Rhein, Sally Hartz, and Barb Adamski. Also in attendance at the meeting were Attorney Paul Stephanides, and Village Clerk Bonnie Price.

 

Pledge of Allegiance

 

 

Trustee Adamski made a motion seconded by Trustee Alcala to adopt Resolution 06-10 A Resolution (1) Establishing The Date, Time and Place of a Public Hearing on the Adoption of Ordinances Approving a Redevelopment Plan and a Redevelopment Project Area and Adopting Tax Increment Financing for an Area (The “111th Street/Toll Road Redevelopment Project Area” as Amended) Generally bisected by 111th Street, with Toll Road as its Far Western Border and Ridgeland Avenue as its Far Eastern Border, Extending from Approximately 110th Street on the North End and 112th Street on the South, all Within the Village, (2) Providing for the Giving of Public Notice of Such Hearing, and (3) Convening and Providing for the Giving of Notice of a Meeting of a Joint Review Board to make a Recommendation to the Village Concerning Such Proposed Plan, Project and Project Area.  A roll call vote followed. Ayes: Trustee Rhein, Hartz, Alcala, and Keller (5). Nays: (0). Abstention: (0). Absent: Werner (1) Motion passed.

 

Trustee Adamski moved seconded by Trustee Rhein to adjourn the Special Meeting at 6:40 p.m. A voice vote followed. Motion carried.
