The Village of Worth has initiated our plan
for cold weather emergencies.
The Village Hall is a designated warming area for residents effected
by the cold temperatures.
Residents may contact the village hall or police department after
hours for assistance.
Neighbors should check on one another and report when a neighbor
is without the ability to keep themselve warm.
Residents
without shelter or proper clothing, electricity, or gas utilities
should be encouraged to seek assistance or reported to the Police
Department.
On Friday Nights there is a free shelter for homeless at St. Marks
Church PADS provides shelters every night on the southside during the
winter.
