IRASS is a non-profit 501c3 mutual aid group of law enforcement officers and civilians, dedicated to Law Enforcement/Rescue missions in Illinois. This is a new unit protecting our Village and our homeland. The Village of Worth is now covered by Helicopter Air Support. The State of Illinois, Cook County and the City of Chicago do not have their own Air Units. This unit is the only Police Air Support unit in the State. Search and Rescue, lost persons, crime scene investigations, tracking offenders, Air Command and Control at disaster scenes, and Night-vision capability is now available.
