Leaf Vacuum

The Leaf Vacuum service will be performed on specific days depending on which area of Worth you live in. The following rules apply: * Leaves should be placed in a row between the ditch and the street. PLEASE DO NOT RAKE LEAVES INTO THE STREET! Raking leaves into ditches causes flooding and drainage problems. * Please refrain from raking your leaves prior to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup. * PLEASE KEEP PARKED VEHICLES OFF THE STREET ON YOUR SCHEDULED COLLECTION DAY. * Leaves will not be picked up if they are mixed with paper, trash, bottles, animal waste, brush, twigs, apples and wood. This causes great damage to our leaf vacuum and also causes a delay in the program due to maintenance. If the crew finds these items mixed in with the leaves, they will not pick them up. * 2009 Spring pickup will be offered by the Village on a per call basis.
