Craft Show Rules and Regulations

 

Worth Days is a four-day outdoor event. The festival is held at 7425 West 115th, just west of Harlem Avenue and Water’s Edge Golf Course. The festival features bingo, free admission, petting zoo, pony rides, free entertainment, a spectacular carnival, food booths, craft show and a beer garden. Please read the attached application carefully and return it along with the appropriate application fee as soon as possible. In an effort to encourage participation we are including an area for small vendors wishing to sell antiques and collectibles as well as craft items.

           Thursday, September 4h 5-10:30 p.m.               Friday, September 6th 5-midnight

            Saturday, September 5th 1- midnight                Sunday, September 7th 1-10:30 p.m.

Exhibitor Rules and Regulations

NO ONE EXHIBITOR WILL BE GRANTED THE EXCLUSIVE
RIGHT TO SELL A SPECIFIC ITEM OR ITEMS

  • Exhibitors must supply own table, tents, chairs, etc.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for transporting items to their space, providing own materials, arranging displays and staffing their area.
  • Exhibitors are required to arrive during set up time and have their displays set-up, attended and open to the public during all hours of the show.  No exhibitor shall remove their display prior to closing time without exclusive permission of the committee.
  • Security will be provided overnight, but we are not responsible for any merchandise, tables, tents or for any items belonging to exhibitors. Leave items at your own risk and liability.
  • Exhibitors are expected to keep their area neat and orderly and to conduct themselves in a proper and dignified manner throughout the show.
  • Failure to comply with exhibitors rules will result in removal from show.
  • Set up time will be September 3, from 2-7 p.m. & Thursday, September 4 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Crafters will be sent a confirmation packet with a parking pass, instructions, booth location/number and any last minute details.
  • The Fire Department reserves the right to inspect and hold responsible the crafter/merchants to all rules and regulations in regard to safety. Inspections of all equipment and procedures will take place before the opening of the festival.
  • No inappropriate or weapon-like items are allowed: no guns, no knives, no gang related products, no drug paraphernalia, no sexual items. Some restrictions may apply and are subject to the discretion of the Village of Worth.
  • Full payment is due at the time of application. Excluding the additional power fee. Electric will be provided during the hours of operation. No overnight power will be available.

I understand security of those possessions brought to my assigned sale space are entirely my responsibility. I know the role of the Village of Worth is simply to provide me with a selling space. I will not hold the Village of Worth or anyone connected with the festival responsible for loss or damage to my property or injury to myself or anyone helping me at my space. This includes all set up times, show times and dismantling of space.

$50 fee for every additional 15-amps/110 volts utilized
