I am often distressed when I drive down 111th street with all the closed businesses. It seems there are an abundant amount of real estate spaces that could be used wisely and bring income into the town. All these gambling spaces, and yet no where for our local youth to meet, have dinner and enjoy friends. How about McDonalds, Buona Beef, Noodles and Company, .....etc, the list is endless. I though we hired a highly experienced developer that was going to improve and develop the main strip of Worth? I have yet to see one new place built, except the Dollar Store which was a good build out and choice in my opinion. Why is there not one large chain food restaurant except Dunkin Doughnuts? Chicago Ridge is no better, so we drive out of our town to find something well known and familiar,, at least I know my teen children and their friends do.
